Through the practice of basic yoga postures, you will improve your balance, strength, and flexibility. Basic yoga postures along with breathing and relaxation techniques will help to relieve tensions and alleviate stress. Wear comfortable, loose fitting clothes and bring a non-slip mat. This is a four week session. Free to Orland Hills Residents.

CPR/AED & FIRST AID CLASS

Come join us and learn First Aid, CPR and how to properly use an Automatic External Difibrillator (AED).  You wil be taught the proper techniques of breathing, compressions, along with cardiac emergency situations.  The class will be instructed by the Orland Fire Protection District.  Candidates will receive a Certificate of Completion.

WALKING

Follow the indoor track around the Community Center's state of the art Gymnasium.  15.4 laps around the walking track is one mile.  General walking is available for residents on Thursday from 7:30-8:30pm and on Saturday from 9:00-10:00am for no charge.

 

OPEN GYM

There is a $1.00 fee for residents, resident families are $2.00.  Nonresident children (12 yrs. and under) fee is $5.00.  A nonresident Adult fee is $10.00  Please call 708-349-7211 to confirm schedule.

HEALTH CLUBS

The Orland Hills Recreation Department is proud to announce the usage of Consolidated High School District 230 Fitness Centers.  Membership will provide Orland Hills Residents access to all three District 230 Fitness Centers facilities:  Victor J.
