Learn the art of English or Western horsemanship and ride, groom, saddle and control your horse at a walk, trot and canter. Orland Hills Recreation Department, in conjunction with Forest View Farms, is offering a five (5) week lesson package or five (5) trail rides through the beautiful Cook County Forest Preserve. Beginners through Advanced are welcome. Forest View Farms has a heated indoor arena for year round riding. This package rate can only be purchased twice in a calendar year. Register at the Community Center, call the stable to arrange classes and bring your receipt to the first lesson. Helmet rental $1 per class.

Mr. Frank Sanchez will be providing students with exceptional knowledge and expertise in drawing and oil painting. Classes are continuous and will consist of four–one hour sessions. Students will learn various styles of drawing and oil painting. Basic mixing, technique, brush handling, brush up and patterning is also included.

Paint a seasonal picture! You’ll learn to draw accurately before you begin your step-by-step paintings. Projects include a 16x20 oil painting picture of your choice. Each session features a different picture.

Come join the fun with our lively group of current members and become part of the Orland Hills Senior Club. This popular social opportunity offers seniors a place to gather and make new friends. This program focuses on not only bingo, but important informational topics, fitness and special events.
