A creative movement class for Preschool and Kindergarten boys and girls! The fiveweek session is taught by Ms. Diane King, Director of Dance Images in Tinley Park. Her philosophy encourages positive learning, while helping the young child to mature and gain self-confidence…all the while, having tons of fun and being physically active.

The Gym Masters Tumbling Program is designed to deliver an age appropriate curriculum that is focused on safety and technique. Please note that each session is for five classes. No class February 19th.

Giddy up! The Orland Hills Recreation Department, in conjuction with Forest View Farms, is offering a package of five pony riding lessons. This package rate can only be purchased twice in a calendar year. Register at the Community Center and call the stable at 708-560-0306 to arrange day and time.

This successful, long running program is taught by our highly qualified staff. Our instructors are certified in Early Childhood Development. Our Pre-K curriculum is designed to be in conjunction with the Illinois Early Learning Standards. Our program provides a foundation of basic learning skills and develops self esteem that eases the transition into Kindergarten. Along with working to meet those standards, time is spent working on socialization skills, working and playing with others, following simple rules and routines. Our threeyear- old programs focus on developing fine motor skills, learning to use crayons, pencils and scissors as well as sharing and socializing. Children must reach the age of 3 or 4 on or before September 1, 2023 and must be toilet trained.

• Preschool registration is currently being offered and all classes will be prorated after the school year begins.

Soccer Shots is an engaging eight week children’s soccer program for children 2 to 5 years of age. The program has a focus on character development. The age curriculum places emphasis on skill building and is aligned with Illinois Early Learning and Development Standards.

Soccer Shots is an engaging eight week children’s soccer program for children 2 to 8 years of age. The program has a focus on character development. The age curriculum places emphasis on skill building and is aligned with Illinois Early Learning and Development Standards.

A basketball league in which boys and girls first learn teh basic fundamentals of basketball; dribbling; passing, and shooting. All players will be drafted to a team.  For the first two weeks, players meet on Wednesdays and Saturdays. Team practices are held on Wednesdays. Scheduled games on Saturdays.  Volunteer coaches are needed.  All participants will receive a T-Shirt and shorts.
